Daniel C. D'Entremont, President and Finance Committee Chair
Dan joined our Board of Directors in July 2005. He recently retired as V.P. of Finance from L.L. Bean Inc., after 24 years, and started a Maine based management consulting form, Ferry Crossing, LLC. Dan serves on the Board and Loan Committee of the Biddeford Saco Area Economic Development Corporation and the Board of Trustees of the University of New England. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Maine Development Foundation from 1999 to 2004 (Treasurer in 2003, Board Chair in 2004). Dan teaches Accounting and Finance at USM. Dan and his wife live in Biddeford, Maine.
Wendy R. Cherubini, Vice President and Program Committee Chair
Wendy R. Cherubini is currently an Analyst with the Maine State Legislature's Office of Program Evaluation and Government Accountability. She has extensive experience in municipal government, administering Community Development Block Grant funds, working with social service agencies and developing and implementing affordable housing policy. Wendy resides in Portland.
Mark Register, Development Committee Chair
Mark, an Ogunquit resident, is an HIV Clinical Specialist for Johnson & Johnson covering Northern New England. Mark, a native of North Carolina, has lived in New England for 13 years where he has worked at Fenway Community Health Center, Massachusetts State Lab, and currently J & J. Mark has been involved in the community as a member of the Human Rights Campaign, a volunteer for the first Boston to New York AIDS Ride, and participated in many AIDS fundraisers throughout the years as a runner.
Michael Montgomery
Michael, a Portland resident, came to Frannie Peabody Center after retiring as the AIDS Director for the State of California. He is former Chair of the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization regarding programming, international twinning, policy efforts, community work, and overall operations.
Robert S. Hark, Esq.
Robert Hark is a partner at Troubh Heisler, Attorneys at Law, in Portland and Lewiston. Robert's professional experience includes various forms of litigation, including: intellectual property, securities, state corporate taxation, property, and land use. Robert is also experienced with transactional and public policy matters and has professional affiliations with the Maine Bar Professional Ethics Commission and the Androscoggin County Bar Association.

John Hatcher is one of Keller Williams Realty’s leading brokers in Portland. John oversees The Hatcher Group, including dedicated real estate professionals specializing in Portland’s West End community. John lives in Portland.
Ann M. E. Lemire, M.D.
Dr. Lemire has served as Program Director in Maine Medical Center's Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program since 1999. She also practices medicine for the City of Portland's Public Health Department at Positive Health Care. Dr. Lemire resides in South Portland.
Sam Surprise
Sam Surprise is President and founder of Surprise Advertising Inc. in Portland, now in its 14th year. Sam served as President of The Ad Club of Portland in 2000-2001, Chair of the Broderson Awards committee, and is a past board member of Maine Speakout Project. Sam served as co-chair of Frannie Peabody Center’s 8th Annual Women’s Leadership Luncheon Committee.
Caroline Teschke, M.D.
Caroline, a Portland resident, is a physician with extensive cross-cultural experience surrounding HIV/AIDS. While in London, Caroline specialized in Sexually Transmitted Diseases and worked at a senior level in one of the busiest clinics in the world. There, she was involved in the diagnosis and management of the first wave of AIDS patients to appear in the U.K. From there, Caroline was invited to the University of California Medical Center where she specialized in clinical and research initiatives surrounding the consequences of HIV infection. She also directed the efforts of San Diego’s branch of the nationwide drug trial of AZT, which, at that time was the only treatment for HIV/AIDS. Furthermore, Caroline was a member of the Neurological Subcommittee of the AIDS Treatment Evaluation Unit at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In Portland, Caroline is returning to the work force in the field of HIV/AIDS in a capacity that will utilize both her medical and anthropological background. She is currently involved with Konbit Sante and the Immigrant Legal Advocacy project.
Perry St. Louis
Perry, a Portland resident, is the Director of Marketing for Baker Newman Noyes, a CPA and consulting firm in Portland, ME and Manchester, NH. He is also a member of the City of Portland Parks, Trails and Open Spaces Commission. Prior to moving to Maine, he spent many years living and working in Boston where he volunteered at the AIDS Action Committee in their Buddy Program. He now enjoys “the way life should be” in Maine with his two dogs, Kashi and Ike.
