Charitable Giving
The need is now. Welcome to Frannie Peabody Center's contribution page. Our community is directly affected by gifts from people like you whose generosity supports our programs including client and HIV prevention services, housing assistance, and assisted living at Peabody House. Through this website, you will find information to make a contribution, purchase event tickets, or become a new donor.
Contributing to Frannie Peabody Center is simple. Print and mail in our donation form with your contribution, or contact our Development Office at (207) 774-6877 or development@peabodycenter.org. The agency welcomes pledges, cash contributions, gifts of stock, mutual funds, deferred or planned giving, real estate, and tangible or in-kind gifts as appropriate.
► Gifts of Cash
Contributing to our Annual Fund is the most
direct way to support Frannie Peabody Center's programs and services. Monetary gifts can be made by cash, check, Visa or Master Card.
Memorial/Honorary Gifts
A contribution is a thoughtful way to memorialize a friend or family member while supporting the work of the Center. One may also honor a family member, friend or colleague on the occasion of a birthday, graduation or other meaningful benchmark.
Sponsored Projects
Gifts in support of a number of ongoing projects allow you to have a direct impact on specific programs and services. The Center welcomes gifts in support of our Client Services, support services such as our Supplemental Food Pantry, Peabody House, HIV Prevention Services including rapid testing, counseling and outreach, and Direct Client Assistance Funds.
All checks and/or money orders should be made payable to Frannie Peabody Center and sent to the attention of Jacob A. Roberson, Development Director, 335 Valley Street, Portland, ME 04102.
► Gifts of Securities
If you are interested in transferring securities to support the Peabody Center's programs, please contact the Development Office prior to making your arrangements.
► Gifts of Tangible Personal Property
This includes real estate and personal collectibles. Please contact the center if you're interested in donating tangible items.
► Estate or Deferred Gifts (Planned Gifts)
The work of Frannie Peabody Center has been acknowledged and strengthened
by generous individuals who made the Peabody Center a part of
their estate planning. Frannie Peabody Center welcomes planned gifts as part of its
program to
secure its future through major gift support. Planned giving may provide you with reduced income tax, avoidance of capital gains, increased annual income and a reduction in estate taxes while you and your family support programs and services to people with HIV/AIDS in Maine.
